Facilities and resources
The University should provide the practical resources needed for your research. The framework lists:
- A managed University laptop, remaining University property and returnable when studies finish or end.
- Designated research-student offices on each campus, typically hotdesking with local arrangements possible.
- Multifunctional-device printing and photocopying.
- Online resources and off-campus library support.
Essential specialist facilities should have been agreed and approved by your School before an offer was made. Other reasonable research-specific resources can be requested at School level.
Discuss a missing or unsuitable resource with your Director of Studies and School Research Degrees Leader. For access or administrative queries, use Contacts. Accessibility needs also belong in Disability support and adjustments.
